About 1.5 years ago Rule Boston Camera contacted me and asked if I’d be interested in presenting at one of their Learning Labs.  Every week the folks at Rule host talks/demonstrations that are free and open to the public with subject matters that cover both production and post production.

I was asked to give a beginners guide to color correction that would cover the basics for anyone who was possibly interested in grading.  While that topic was quite broad, I wanted to discuss color color correction as an art and not just focus on specific hardware/software.  This video demonstrates some of the very basics that Colorists utilize everyday and offers a brief glimpse of some of those techniques carried out in DaVinci Resolve.
