Color Management

This weekend Ender’s Game topped the box office with a relatively strong performance pulling in $28 million.  I have yet to see the film, but from what I can tell it looks as though it has an interesting color palette.  It seems to embrace the teal and orange “Michael Bay” look, but not as intensely as most Hollywood blockbusters.  Shot on the RED camera, data and color management is crucial to a streamlined workflow that can either make or break a post production process.  Over the weekend I came across this link that discusses the color workflow and management that post house Light Iron took towards completing the DI and passing off shots to VFX house Digital Domain.
