Earlier this year I teamed up with the guys at McFarland and Pecci to work on a Czarface music video.  They told me there would be some crazy concepts/footage, and man, were they right.

Shot on the Red Epic with Hawk anamorphic lenses, this was one of my first 4K finishes.  They had several looks that they wanted to achieve for each portion of the video and really pushed the color to the extreme.  It’s really fun to work outside of the traditional commercial scene and these guys gave me quite a bit of freedom.

Earlier this week we found out that established music review site hiphopsite.com ranked the video number six on their top music videos of 2013.  With the company of artists like Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar, hiphopsite.com’s ranking is quite the honor.
