As a Colorist I alter the color of images that you see on screen to better tell a story.  It’s my job to evoke emotions, create feelings that stem from the subconscious, and fix mistakes (yes, they do happen from time to time).  My main objective is to complete each job to the best of my ability and, in turn, broaden my client horizons.  My home base is Boston, Massachusetts, but I have streaming capabilities to work with people from all over the world.  I am the owner/Senior Colorist at Color Refinery and have been working as a Colorist for the past seventeen years.  I greatly enjoy the camaraderie that develops between artist and client while in the color suite perfecting an image.  We’re telling a story together and it’s my goal to help tell that story as accurately as possible.

This website is designed to give a brief glimpse of the kind of work that I do and provide a little insight to the color grading world that can be a complex beast, both technically and creatively.  Through my blog page and general conversation I hope to cast a little light onto the craft that I love and help demystify color grading.

I’m always eager to help and form new relationships, so if you have any questions or just want to say “hi” jump over to my contact page and give me a shout.
