Every once in awhile a commercial catches my eye while I’m half watching television at night.  I try to pay attention to the popular trends and brands while storing away ideas for future commercial grading sessions.  After all, imitation is the best form of flattery.  Tonight, randomly, I happened across the most recent Fiber One campaign and I absolutely loved the grade.

The treatment of the blacks appear as thought they were made with some creative soft clipping and utilizing the YSFX.  That combined with the slightly desaturated look really make for an appealing grade.  I’m going to file this one away, create a power grade preset, and do my best to utilize it in a commercial session.
