Hey everyone, my first posting for Mixing Light was an article discussing the preparation involved going into a commercial session.  This time around I tried my hand at completing a video tutorial.  While my initial attempts were far from good (I don’t think I’ll ever get used to the sound of my own voice) I was pretty pleased with how it turned out in the end.  In this quick 4 minute segment I cover how to control uncontrollable light sources.  This technique was essential in completing my latest feature, Aerosmith: Rock for the Rising Sun. Check out the trailer below and hopefully you find this tutorial helpful.
